Our mission
Help every independent worker know exactly what they can spend, what they owe, and when it's due, without a finance degree, a bank login or an expensive subscription.
We started with the question freelancers ask most and get answered least: “How much of this payment is actually mine?” Everything in Quarterbird is built around answering it, every time money comes in.

Your money, your data
We never ask for your bank password, we don't sell data, and your records stay on your phone. Exports are free, always.
Honest by default
No surprise charges, no dark patterns, no price hikes on people who already trust us. Our billing promises are public and built into the app.
Show our working
Every estimate is explained: the brackets, the rates, the deductions. We cite the IRS and update our tables every year before January.
How we work
- Sourced numbers. Tax brackets, wage bases and mileage rates come from IRS and SSA publications, and the tax engine is checked by automated tests.
- Yearly refresh. New tables ship before each January so your first payment of the year is already right.
- Privacy by design. Your records live on your device. Even accountant links carry the numbers inside the link, never on our servers.
- Published policies. Our billing promises and security practices are published, not buried.
